We took Mikayla to see Santa, she sat on his lap all by herself--big girl--but she was a little nervous. Patrick is not in the picture this year, no paybacks!!!

last weekend, we went to Christmas Village in Ogden with our great friends, The Smith's. They brought along a handmade sled which the girls adored. We had a great night!

When we got back, we took a Saturday and decorated our tree. It was snowing and we had Christmas music on, it really got us in the Holiday Spirit!!

We took a trip to Colorado to visit some family for Thanksgiving. We brought Kimo along and we stayed with my mom and Ben. Of course, we had a great time!! We were able to hang out with family, Mikayla rode a horse, hung out with Carolyn's new puppy--Nemo, my mom's dog, La Beau we decorated my moms Christmas tree. We had a nice 2009 Thanksgiving, thanks grandma and papa!!

Having fun in the snow with daddy. Patrick came home from work and it had been snowing for a while, so Mikayla and Patrick went out back and played around for a little bit!

We finally got Mikayla's room done, she LOVES her big girl bed and her new room! It sure is a girly girl room--so cute!!

We went Trick or Treating with some great friends, and had a great time!! Mikayla decided she wanted to be a duck and not a lady bug for Trick or Treating, the costume was nice and warm--thanks Auntie Carolyn and Trinity!!

Tutu (Mikayla's grandma) sent her a Halloween package. Patrick and Mikayla ate some oreos and opened up the package--hence the oreo lips on Mikayla

I am now 36 weeks pregnant and have been taking Apidra (fast acting insulin) before meals and Lantus (long lasting insulin) before I go to sleep. Getting my sugars under control has been a struggle, but with some help from my endocrinologist, dietitian, midwife, and some nutrition education, I have gotten it figured out. The plan is to be induced Monday December 28, 2009 at 5:30am. Wow, a real Christmas surprise! I have been going to see my midwife twice a week for about a month now and I see my endocrinologist and dietitian every other week--to say the least I have been busy! Luckily I have an awesome husband and some extremely great friends who have been helping me out with Mikayla.

I am 2 cm dilated and 75% effaced, so we will see if this little one wants to wait until Dec 28th to meet the world....Now for some overdue blogging....
